T. H. Stalcup

T. H. Stalcup, 82, of Jonesboro, died Friday, February 13, 2009 at the Manila Nursing Home. He lived all his life in the Jonesboro area and was a member of the Lunsford Baptist Church. Mr. Stalcup was in the US Army during WWII serving in the Philippines. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois, his parents and one sister.

Mr. Stalcup is survived by one son, Thomas “Gene” Stalcup and wife Becky, Lowell, Arkansas; three sisters, Dorothy Cooper and Betty Veteto, Jonesboro; and Irene Paul Sidney Paul, Sidney, Arkansas; grandchildren, Stacey Riggs and Thomas E. Stalcup Jr.; great grandchildren, Michale Riggs and Matt Riggs.

Funeral services will be 2:00 Monday, February 16, 2009 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Larry Owens officiating and burial to follow at Macedonia Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Darrell Veteto, Keith Veteto, Michael Veteto, Bradley Cooper, Steve Cooper and Ernest Cooper. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 Sunday night at Emersons.
