Sylvia "Sue" Sauls

Sylvia “Sue” Sauls, 90 of Jonesboro passed from this life Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, TN.  She was born in the community of Malden, MO to Arthur and Bessie Bowman McFarland on August 24, 1926.  Sue had lived in Jonesboro since 1988 and was a member of Strawfloor Baptist Church.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Sauls (2006), her parents, 4 brothers and 2 sisters:  Earl Dean, Fred McFarland, Giles McFarland, Patsy Williams, Becky Jackson and Bob McFarland. Survivors are nephew Brian Williams (Cheryl) of Jonesboro and niece Janice Chambers (Rusty) of Jonesboro, as well as many special nieces, nephews, great, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11:00am in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Harold Russell and Matt Flad officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park.

Pallbearers include: Brian Williams, Rusty Chambers, George Williams, Tyler McGlaughlin, Sean McFarland, and Joe Young.  Honorary Pallbearers include Tige Williams and the Senior Class at Strawfloor Baptist Church.
