Sylvia L. Holman

Sylvia Holman, 76, of Jonesboro, died Monday, July 11, 2011, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Born in rural Craighead County, Sylvia lived most of her life in the Jonesboro area. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by 2 sons: Michael Holman and Dennis Holman, 2 sisters: June Gardner and Jessiebelle Nanney, and a brother, Charles Nanney.

Survivors include:
5 sons, Kenny Holman of California, David Holman of Paragould, Randy Holman of Texas and Freddie Holman and Scott Holman, both of Jonesboro;

2 daughters, Donna Craig of Bono, and Regina Morey of Tennessee;

2 sisters, Ruth Perryman of California and Gwen Trotter of Jonesboro;

14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday evening at 7:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with David Holman officiating. Burial will be private.

Visitation will be held Friday evening, 5-7, in Emerson Chapel.
