Sybel Lorene Rothrock

Sybel Lorene Rothrock, 94, of Jonesboro, passed from this life Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She was born to the late William Theodore Hector and Goldia C. Ledbetter. Lorene has resided in Jonesboro since 1970 after moving around from various places such as:  St. Louis, California, and West Virginia. She was a long tenured member at North Main Baptist Church since about 1972. She loved and adored all of her children. Lorene received her GED from O’Fallon Tech and received her secretarial certificate in Marked Tree at Delta Vo-tech. She also attended Arkansas State University.

In addition to her parents, Lorene is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Rothrock; daughter, Elizabeth B. Mouzy, and Son, Ricky W. Hart.

Lorene is survived by her two daughters, Loralee Hart and Tashena (Troy) Smith both of Trumann; two sisters, Mable Christine (Kenneth) Robbins of Plant City, Florida and Goldia Gearldene (Clyde) Clark of Forrest City, Arkansas; one grandchild, April Winters; two great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

A visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Emerson Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
