Susan Annette Lewis

Susan Lewis, 73, of Jonesboro passed from this life Thursday, January 14, 2021, at her home. She was born July 9, 1947, in Manila to the late Bud and Irene Wortham. Susan was a member of Walnut Street Baptist Church. Susan truly enjoyed volunteering at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House and loved meeting her Manila Girls to eat lunch. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, planning special birthday dinners, and cooking with her granddaughters.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Steve Lewis of the home; son, Dr. Steven (April) Lewis of Jonesboro; daughter, Stephanie (Tim) Johnson of Jonesboro; brother, Edward Wortham of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 5 granddaughters: Taylor Johnson, Shelby Johnson, Lauren Lewis, Hannah Lewis, and Ella Lewis all of Jonesboro and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at 2:00 pm in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Tony Williams officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that lasting memorials be given to the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House, 400 East Street, Jonesboro, AR 72401.
