Sue Rolland

Sue Rolland, 90, of Jonesboro, died on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at St. Elizabeth’s Place. She had lived in Jonesboro for over 55 years, moving back here from Houston, Texas.  She was born in Oil Trough, Arkansas on July 21, 1934, to Luther and Nellie Shortnacy. She enjoyed gardening and keeping her house immaculately clean.  Reading brought her many hours of pleasure and watching Charles Stanley Ministries on television. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by several siblings and two grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Gail Manning of Chattanooga, Tennessee; Lori Bryant and husband, Curt of Jonesboro; sisters, Lois Henry; Joyce Harper of Enid Oklahoma; Debbie Brown, of Texarkana, Texas; Beth Wilson of Houston; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
