Linda “Sue” Marshall, 74, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Friday, September 7, 2018. She was born on July 22, 1944 in Jerusalem, Arkansas. Sue was a member at Valley View Church of Christ. She worked for Fowler Foods for many years before joining the Arkansas State University Police Department until her retirement. Sue loved to cook and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Bud” Marshall; parents, Charleen and Willard Vaughn; and Brother, Price Bridges.

Sue is survived by her children, Tony Marshall of Jonesboro, Robert Marshall (Karri) of Jonesboro, and Adam Marshall (Vonda) of Jonesboro; brother, Don Vaughn (Susie) of Lake Village, Arkansas; sisters, Jan Brimingham (Leslie) of Lepanto and Judy Blocker (Sam) of Lepanto; grandchildren, Kalli Long (Jordan), Kami Marshall, and Ella Marshall; and great granddaughter, Zadie Long. Sue also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Monday evening at Emerson Funeral Home.

A funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Emerson Funeral Home with Bro. Mitch Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Monette Cemetery with the active pallbearers being Adam Marshall, Tony Marshall, Robert Marshall, Rodney Jackson, Jordan Long, and Bo Huggins.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
