Sue Wing Lee

Sue Wing Lee, 80, of Jonesboro passed from this life Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at her home with her family by her side. She was born to the late H. John and Martha C. Wing in Jonestown, MS on February 12, 1940. She has resided in Jonesboro since 1965 after moving from Helena, AR. Sue was a faithful and active member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. She and her husband owned Lee’s Pharmacy for over 40 years. Sue was very involved member the Jonesboro Junior Auxiliary , St Bernard's Auxiliary and volunteered at NEA/Baptist Hope Circle. She was on the board for the United Way of Northeast Arkansas and Union Planters Bank.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Wing.

She is survived by her husband of 61years, Frank Lee, of the home; two sons, Greg Lee and Derek Lee both of Jonesboro; sister, Linda (Ken) Broxson of Milton, Fl; brother Gene(Becky) Wing of Jonesboro; five grandchildren, Jacob Lee of Los Angeles, CA, Winston Lee, Eli Lee, Nate Looney, and Erik Looney of Jonesboro.

A visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Emerson Funeral Home.  A funeral service will follow visitation at 10:30 am Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Emerson Funeral Home with Brother Billy Vanderbilt officiating.

Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with active pallbearers being: Jacob Lee, Winston Lee, Eli Lee, Scott Harris, Dimitri Harris, and Nate Looney.
