Sue Hicken

Sue Hicken, 61, of Jonesboro, died Sunday, December 2, 2018, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center.  She had lived in Jonesboro for 13 years, moving here from California.  She was of the Catholic belief.  She loved her family and was a great mom and sister.  Sue was known for her ability to create baking masterpieces.  She was preceded in death by her husband, father, one sister and one brother.

Survivors include her daughter; Lindsey Mitchell of Jonesboro; mother, Mary Jane Callender of North Hills, California; brothers, Robert Callender of San Marcos, California; Christopher Callender of Vista, California; close friends, Amy Barber and Kathy Pasley.

A celebration of life gathering will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Cregeen’s Irish Pub in the upstairs area.  All family and friends are invited.  All other services will be private under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home.
