Steven James Miller

Steven James Miller of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025, at St. Bernards Medical Center. Born on November 24, 1978, in Newport, Arkansas, Steven lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to those around him. He served as the Senior Meat Cutter at Sam’s Club, where his skill, work ethic, and friendliness made him a cherished coworker.

Steven was a Christian and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved fishing, golfing, cooking, playing poker with friends, playing video games, visiting casinos, and most of all, spending time with his beloved wife, Season, and their weenie dogs.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Donna Lucas. Steven is survived by his loving wife, Season Miller; parents-in-law Michelle and Doug Morgan, and Kathy and Jimmy Powell; sister-in-law Valorie Bowman and husband Chris; and niece and nephew Allyson and Jacob Bowman and wife Peyton.

A visitation will be held at Emerson Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 27, from 1:00 p.m. until the service at 2:00 p.m., with Bro. Andy Neal officiating. Honorary pallbearers will include Rob Cottam, Brian Lawrence, Mitch Stewart, and the Sam’s Club Meat Department.
