Steve B. Robinson

Steve Robinson, 55 of Land O Lakes, FL formerly of Jonesboro passed from this life on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Tampa General Hospital.

Steve was born on November 7, 1960 in Jonesboro to the late Gene H. Robinson and Henrietta Hawkins Robinson. He worked for the Jonesboro Sun for many years before starting his own Towing and Recovery business here in Jonesboro. His hobbies included riding his Harley Davidson, gardening, and caring for his dog, Oreo. He loved being with his family, and he especially loved being a Papa to his grandchildren. In addition to his father, Gene H. Robinson; he was preceded in death by the love of his life his wife, Darlene Tate Robinson; brothers, William Eugene Robinson and Michael Dewayne Robinson; a niece, Brittney Graham; and a nephew, Kyle Leatherwood.

He is survived by sons, Aaron (Anne Marie) Robinson and Hunter Robinson both of Jonesboro; daughter, Rachael Robinson of Jonesboro; mother, Henrietta Robinson of Jonesboro; grandchildren; Isaac Robinson and Melisa Watkins; sister, Debi LeBlanc of Jonesboro; and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2pm in the Emerson Memorial with Paul Peters officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements. Curtis Robinson, Greg Lackey, David Fletcher, Brandon King, Beau McCaughan, and Brannen Lovelace serving as pallbearers.
