Stephen "Steve" Grilletta

Stephen “Steve” Robert Grilletta, 62, of Jonesboro died Thursday January 17, 2013 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House following a valiant fight with cancer. He was born October 11, 1950 in New Orleans, Louisiana and was the son of Steve and Gladys Grilletta.

A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, he was a longtime resident of Jonesboro and in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Warren Grilletta, aunt and uncle, Betty and Benny Ellender, with whom he resided in his youth.
Steve graduated from Jonesboro High School in 1968 and Arkansas State where he was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He was a freelance Videographer and loved his four legged fur babies.

His is survived by his wife, Michelle Grilletta of the home, sister, Stephanie Palmisano and two nephews Frank and Nick Palmisano of Metairie, Louisiana, and a host of friends.

A Celebration of his Life will be held Saturday January 19, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at Bennigan’s in Jonesboro. All family and friends are invited to attend this Celebration with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.
