Stephen D. Martin

Stephen D. Martin, 46, of Jonesboro, passed from this life, Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center. Stephen attended the New Life Church.  He loved fishing and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and his step-dad.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Carolyn Martin, of the home; sons, Scott Martin (Terri) of Evans, Colorado; Jeremy Martin of Midland, Texas; daughter, Amber Jones (Mason) of Waldenburg; grandmother, Betty Griffith (Aubrey) of Harrisburg; brother, Jason Martin (Brittany) of Edmond, Oklahoma; sister, Elizabeth Spurbeck (Michael) of Leoma, Tennessee; grandchildren, Eli Martin and Easton Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Monday, March 12, 2013, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with James Moore and Melvin Davis officiating.  Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of services.  Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be from 9:30 until service time on Monday.
