Stella Lucille Pieri, 75, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born to the late George and Elizabeth Sartain on March 16, 1942 in Vandale, Arkansas. Stella was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church and she retired from Arkansas State University. She loved taking care of her flower garden and spending time on the computer playing games and connecting with family. In addition to her parents, Stella is preceded in death by her husband, John Pieri and an infant son; brothers, James and Charles Sartain; and sister, Hazel Brown.

Stella is survived by her daughter, Terri Moore (John David) of Jonesboro; brothers, Albert Sartain (Barb), Bill Sartain (Ruth), and Bob Sartain (Peggy) all of Jonesboro; sister-in-law, Shirley Sartain. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Emerson Funeral Home with Kevin Barnett officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery.

The visitation will be held Monday evening from 5-7 pm.
