Stanley Minton

Stanley Martin Minton, 78, of Jonesboro, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024. He was born on October 22, 1945, in Jonesboro to the late A.H. and Juanita Minton, and he spent his entire life in the area. Stanley was a man of Christian faith, an avid hunter and fisherman who had a deep love for the outdoors, and a proud veteran who served our country in the Army National Guard. He was the owner and operator of Thrifty Service Heat & Air and also spent years working as a farmer.

In addition to his parents, Stanley is preceded in death by his brother, Everett Minton; his sister, Lisa Goode; and his son, Rodney Allen Minton.
He is survived by his son, Marty (Aida) Minton of Forrest City, AR; his daughter, Carrie (Ozgur) Kizil of Harrisburg, AR; his sister, Anita Mayes of Jonesboro, AR; three grandchildren, Trey Dill and Callie Dill, both of Jonesboro, and Samantha Grimsley of Russellville, AR; and two great-grandchildren, Josiah Grimsley and Aria Robertson.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Old Enterprise Cemetery, with a service to follow at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
