Stanley Thomas Ivy

Stanley Thomas Ivy, 37, of Jonesboro, peacefully departed this life on Monday, September 16, 2024, in Harrisburg, AR, surrounded by his loved ones. Born on May 24, 1987, in Jonesboro, Stanley was the cherished son of Steve and Mary Young Ivy.

A man of deep Pentecostal faith, Stanley was a proud and dedicated member of Faith Tabernacle Church in Jonesboro. He held a special bond with his pastor, Brother Brad Robinson, and found a true sense of belonging among his church family. Stanley embraced life with enthusiasm, finding joy in the simple pleasures: camping under the stars, losing himself in video games, tending to his garden, cooling off with a swim, and sharing in the fellowship of his church. Above all, he lived to bring happiness to his mother, who was his greatest source of pride.

Stanley's brother, Stevie Ray Ivy, was his hero. He loved Stevie more than life itself, and the bond they shared was unbreakable.

Stanley is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Doris Ivy. Left to carry his memory are his devoted parents, Steve Ivy of Harrisburg and Mary Young Ivy of Jonesboro, his beloved brother, Stevie Ray Ivy of Jonesboro, and a church family that meant the world to him.

In keeping with his family’s wishes, all services will be held privately.
