Stanley Ray Hardin

Stanley Ray Hardin, 72, of Tyronza, Arkansas fell asleep in death on February 9, 2024 due to

complications from lewy body dementia. He was surrounded by family with his favorite tv show

on in the background, Leave it to Beaver.

Stan made his grand entrance in this world on September 7, 1951 to Arlie Clinton Hardin and

Lola Mae Erwin Hardin. The youngest of 11 kids, it was said that he didn’t leave his momma’s

hip til he was the ripe young age of 14 (Ha!). After completing the 11th grade, Stan decided he

had learned enough and retired from school. He spent most of his life doing what he loved,

repairing and beautifying cars and selling them.

Stan had many hobbies, some of which were, playing pool, playing cards, picking the

mandolin, hanging out at George Rays drag strip, going camping (in a hotel room), telling jokes,

building model cars, and tinkering with anything that could be tinkered.

Eventually Stan met the woman of his dreams (his words), Kathy, at the local laundromat. It

was in that moment, Stan knew he was going to marry her. One of their fondest memories

while dating was their Payneway doorstep goodnights, Kathy would have to stand on the top

step to kiss goodnight. That doorstep was also where Stan proposed. They dated for 2 years

and married on August 12, 1982. They had two children from previous marriages, Michael

Hardin and Kimberly Barnes Huff. Then along came Candice Hardin Rososki and Clinton Ray

Hardin. It was after Clint they decided four was enough.

After years of being taught the truth from his mother, Lola, as well as many others, it was Kathy

coming home from the Kingdom Hall in tears because their youngest daughter would cry and

sound off during the meetings, that eventually brought Stan to the Hall. He dedicated his life to

serving Jehovah God and was baptized on November 2, 1985. He would go on to say that

was the best decision he ever made. Stan loved telling others about the Bible truths he learned

and studied the Bible with many. Even when his mind would forget how to do some things or

certain people, his love for Jehovah God was never forgotten. His wish was always for all his

kids and grandkids to develop the same love for Jehovah.

Stanley is preceded in death by his parents, Arlie Clinton and Lola Mae; 5 brothers, AC,

Thurman, Paul, Hoyle “Big Bud”, and Doyle “Little Bud”; and 3 sisters, Judy, Eloise, and Betty.

He leaves behind one brother, Kenneth (Dorothy “Dot”); and one sister, Shirley. His beautiful

wife, Kathy; 2 sons, Michael (Deanna), and Clint; 2 daughters, Kim (Matt) and Candice

(Brandon); as well as 11 grandchildren, Michael “Mikey”, Dakota, Rosa, Ryker, Colton, Isla,

Liam, Elai, Landon, Rachel, and Cotton.

Stan the Man will be dearly missed until his earthly resurrection. A hope that he believed with

all his heart. So this isn’t a goodbye, but a see you later.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 2:00pm at the Kingdom Hall

of Jehovah’s Witnesses 35029 Country Rd. Tyronza, Ar with Bro. Ryan Hansen officiating. Any

who wish to attend may do so. For those unable to attend in person, the memorial will be
