Sonya Adams

Sonya Adams, 89, of Jonesboro, died at her home Friday. She had lived in Jonesboro for the past 34 years, moving here from Mill Shoals, Illinois. She was an avid gardener, and was a member of the Red Hat Society, Senior Citizens Group of Bono, and the Jonesboro Senior Life Center. She was of the Presbyterian belief.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Forest Adams.

Mrs. Adams is survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 2731 Paula Drive with Brother Alan Roark officiating.
