Shirley A. Watson

Shirley A. Watson, 68, of Jonesboro died Thursday, April 6, 2017 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born June 11, 1948 in Sweetwater, Texas to the late Bill and Marie Brummit.

In addition to her parents Shirley was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, James Daniel Watson Sr.; 2 sons, James D. Watson Jr., Stacy Glen Watson; 1 brother; 1 sister; 3 grandchildren, Ricky D. Watson, Amanda M. Watson, Courtney R.L. Watson all of Jonesboro and many other friends and family including the staff at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center.

Memorial service will be Monday, April 17, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the Prayer Chapel at Pentecostals of Jonesboro with Associate Pastor Bobby Hartgen officiating.
