Shirley Throgmorton

Shirley Throgmorton, 83 of Bay, passed from this life Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.  She was born August 27, 1936 to Floyd and Edna Huskey Earls in Caraway, Arkansas.  Shirley was a housekeeper and a member of the Church of Christ.  She loved working cross word puzzles, watching Jeopardy, reading newspapers and novels, and she enjoyed watching old westerns on T.V.  Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, James Throgmorton; 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Survivors include her son, Johnny Throgmorton of Bay; daughter, Sherrye Lind of Paragould; sisters, Lin Rahrle of Jonesboro and Barbara (Ted) Knight of Conway; 4 granddaughters, April Harbison, Amanda Harbison, Sarah Lind, Jessica Lind and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, December 16, 2019 at Emerson Memorial Chapel from 9-10 AM.  Service will start at 10 AM with Jimmy Adcox, Ted Knight and Marty Knight officiating.

Burial will be private at a later date.
