Shirley Taylor

Shirley Taylor, 67, Lake City, Arkansas died Saturday, April 3, 2010, at her residence. She lived most of her life in the Lake City and Monette area. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Taylor II; daughter, Elaine Fowler; parents, Orvile and Elva Stewart; and brother, Orvile Stewart Jr.

Shirley is survived by two daughters, Melony Kirkland and husband Dennis, Grand Prarie, Texas; Anna Lee Hill and husband, James, Conway, Arkansas; son, Paul Taylor III, Monette, Arkansas; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jerry Reed officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be a Macey Cemetery with Steve Adams, Arlon Woodruff, Monte Emery, Chris McElroy, Justin Hill, and Brandon Bonner serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 1:30 until service time on Wednesday.
