Shirley Kay Redwine, 66, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Thursday, September 15, 2016. She was born to Claude and Velma Arender on November 7, 1949 in Cash. Shirley was a fun, charismatic and loving woman with a generous heart. She lived to love, spoil & play with her Grandbabies! She was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church and loved being outside with her roses and gardens. Shirley was always happiest when she was with her family and friends. She had faith in every person she met and will be greatly missed. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Velma Arender; husband, Johnnie L. Redwine; son, Johnnie W. Redwine; brother, Claude Arender.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Dawn (D.D.) Riggs (Stephen) of Paragould; daughter in law, Betty Scott Redwine of Jonesboro; brothers, Amos Arender, Franklin Arender, Kater Arender, Cration Arender, and Jerry Arender; sisters, Margie Diggs, Viola Crowell, and Pamela Moyer; grandchildren, Jacob Redwine, Katie Redwine, Gracie Redwine, Hannah Riggs, Tawny Riggs, Rex Riggs and loving father-in-law George H. Redwine.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Emerson Memorial Chapel. All other services will be private. In consideration of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Oncology Department of the children’s hospital of your choice.
