Shirley J. Nall

Shirley J. Nall, 74, of Jonesboro, died Monday at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. She had lived in Jonesboro for about 36 years moving here from Paragould. She was a Protestant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rutherford & Grace Wilson Snider; daughters, Connie Jean Anthony and Terry Lee Nolen; brothers, Roy L. Snider, Ralph Snider; sisters, Ruby Hendrickson and Myrna Chamberlain.

She is survived by her husband, Jim D. Nall, Jonesboro; her children, Darla S. Turner, Jonesboro, Jimmy D. & Janet Evans, Jonesboro, Debbie J. & Eddie Cottle, Smithfield, VA, Johnnie L. & Ray Stone, Walnut Ridge, and Perry Evans; brother, Ray V. Snider, Maine; sister, Dorothy Wheeler, Colorado; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. at Pine Log Cemetery with Brother Mark Harris officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be a procession leaving from the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Thursday morning going to the cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy D. Evans, Joshua Dela Cuesta, Eddie Cottle, and Ray Stone.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. for family only. Public visitation will also be Wednesday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
