Shirley M. Mcglaughlin

Shirley McGlaughlin, 82, of Jonesboro, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014, in the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

Born in Dyersburg, Tennessee, Shirley moved with her family to Jonesboro in 1962. She was a retired sales manager in the home fashions department of Sears in Jonesboro. Shirley was a member of the Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry McGlaughlin and a daughter, Jennifer Grisham.

Survivors include 1 daughter, Belinda Ciganek (Tony) of Jonesboro;
2 sons: Jerry McGlaughlin and Mike McGlaughlin, both of Jonesboro;
1 brother, Edmond Sorrell of Tennessee;
5 grandchildren: Jenna Balch (David) and Chance Grisham, all of Jonesboro, Tyler McGlaughlin (Nicole) of Memphis, Rance Grisham of Little Rock and Joseph McGlaughlin of Anchorage, Alaska; and 1 great granddaughter, Ella Balch of Jonesboro.

Private graveside funeral services will be in Jonesboro Memorial Park with Rev. John Miles officiating.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 28, 2014, from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.
