Shirley Anne Lopez (Robinson)

Born on November 4, 1942 in La Jolla, California, where her dad was stationed in the Navy. Shirley passed away on October 1, 2026 in Tracy, California.

Shirley grew up in and around the Jonesboro, Arkansas area. Her family moved back to California during her junior year of high school. Shirley lived life with strength, style and at times, a whole lot of spiciness. She was quick witted and unforgettable to those who knew her. She was a woman who spoke her mind, knew what she wanted and was not afraid to let others know it except when it came to her parents. She and her husband moved back to Jonesboro in their retirement years to care for her beloved parents.

Shirley was a huge Elvis fan. She had an opportunity to meet him outside the gates of Graceland as a teenager. She had fond memories of growing up in Arkansas, she was even the basketball queen at Nettleton High School.

She will be missed and remembered by those who knew her. She has been laid to rest in Jonesboro with her husband Joe and parents MV and Freda.

Shirley is survived by her daughter Kim and her husband Steve; grandchildren Ryan, Kaitlyn and Melissa; 2 great grandchildren Landon and Claire.
