Shirley Johnson

Shirley Johnson, 55, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Monday, January 23, 2017 at her home. She was born to Thelbert and Shirley Stevens in Doniphan, Missouri and later adopted by her grandparents, Edward and Amy Stevens. Shirley enjoyed cooking, being with friends, and loved to laugh. She really enjoyed the time that she was able to spend with her nieces and nephews. Shirley is preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward and Amy Stevens.

Shirley is survived by her mother Shirley Blanchard; brothers, Lloyd Stevens, Jackie Blanchard, and Jeff Blanchard; sisters, Lucetra Summitt, Vanita Gray, Deborah Haynes, Virginia Raferty, Tracy Bradberry, and June Bauman. Shirley is also survived by nine step-brothers, five step-sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 27, 2016 at Emerson Funeral Home with Lewis Blanchard officiating. Burial will follow at Old Enterprise Cemetery.

The visitation will be prior to the service starting at 1:00 pm.
