Shirley Sue Gibson

Shirley Sue Gibson, 85, of Jonesboro passed from this life Thursday February 8, 2024 at the Flo & Phil Jonesboro Hospice House. She was born July 30, 1938 in Michigan to the late Lacy and Edith Hubble.

Shirley has lived in Jonesboro since 1961 and was a member of North Main Baptist Church. She enjoyed doing yard sales and auctions.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by two sisters, Lacy Sharp and Patsy Wasson as well as a brother, George Hubble.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Gibson of the home; daughter, Vickie (Rickey) Timms of Jonesboro; brother, Jerry Hubble of Ozark Acres; sister, Deannie Holt of Bay; grandchildren, Scotty (Tiffani) Timms, Amber (David) Roshto, Cheyanna Gonzalez, Jennifer Combs and Diane (Coy) Yancey; great grandchildren, Zander Roshto, Cannon Roshto, Levi Roshto, Nolan Palmer, Asher Timms, Chrisley Timms, Scarlett Combs, Jordan Combs and Chase Yancey as well as a great-great grandchild, Axel Kelley.

Visitation will be on Sunday February 11, 2024 from 3-5 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday February 12, 2024 at Emerson Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Watson officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery. Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Scotty Timms, Coy Yancey, Chase Yancey, Jordan Combs, Brandon Roshto, David Roshto, Zander Roshto and Levi Roshto. Honorary pallbearers include Cannon Roshto, Asher Timms and Nolan Palmer.
