Shirley Crabtree

Shirley Ann Crabtree of Jonesboro departed this life on Saturday, July 29, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 8, 1943 to the late Tom and Opal Getson.

She was a member of Southwest Church of Christ and retired as a registered nurse from St. Bernards and Flo & Phil Hospice House. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Henry Lee Gates, Tommy and Jim Getson; and sisters, Juanita Heral, Betty Griffin, and Lois Steele.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Jack Crabtree of Jonesboro; daughter, Sherri Crabtree Allen of Texas; son, Jeff Crabtree of Jonesboro; six grandchildren, Adam, David, Alayna, Logan, Kaitlynn, and Kylie; one sister, Doris Biggs along with many relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends during visitation from 5:00-7:00p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Emerson Memorial Chapel.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2017in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Adcox officiating. Interment will follow at Greene County Memorial Garden in Paragould with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Randy Gray, Homer Gray, Dorian Gray, Todd Clifford, Tim Cross, Tom Cross, and Larry Singleton.
