Shirley Marie Bunch

Shirley Marie Bunch, 77, of Lake City passed from this life Friday, June 11, 2021 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born November 9, 1943 to the late Gordon Gentle and Pearl Singleton.

Shirley has lived in the Jonesboro area for most of her life and was a member of Needham Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and going to wrestling. But her greatest joy was spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Monroe Bunch; 4 sisters; 1 brother; 1 daughter and a grandson.

She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Kain of Walnut Ridge, Peggy Parker (Daryl) of Williford and Tonya Couch (Jerry) of Lake City; sisters, Linda Heithus of Kentucky and Roberta Gentle of North Carolina as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Emerson Funeral Home from 12-2 pm.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 3 pm at Needham Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Russell officiating. Burial will be private.
