Sherry Ellen Clayton Lemay

Sherry Ellen Clayton LeMay, 60, of Jonesboro, died Tuesday, August 12, 2008, at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.

Born in Trumann, Sherry lived several years in Marion and Savannah, Georgia, before moving to Jonesboro in 2005. She was a retired Administrative Assistant for a Corrugated Packaging Manufacturer. Sherry was a 1965 graduate of Trumann High School and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro where she was a nursery worker and choir member.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents: Quillo and Johnnie Parker Clayton.

Survivors include:
Her husband: Richard LeMay of the home;

1 Daughter: Shannon Bruner of Jonesboro;

2 Sons: Todd Matthews of Trumann, and
Tim (Bo) Matthews of West Memphis;

5 Sisters:
Helen Taylor of Marion,
Leigh Phillips of Searcy,
Mary Ann Hodges of Jonesboro,
Alice Faye Harrison of Trumann, and
Deborah Troillett of Little Rock;

4 Grandchildren:
Justin Matthews, Kaley Matthews, Shanneil White-Cooper and Jonathan Bruner; and

1 Great Granddaughter: London Paige White.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 11:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Don Blackmore officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers include: Bob Taylor, C.A. Phillips, Curt Hodges, Ronnie Harrison,
Jim Troillett, Coy Lancaster and Ervin LeMay.

Visitation will be held Wednesday evening, 5-7, at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
