Sherley Gean Pogue

Sherley Gean Pogue, 69, of Bay passed from this life Monday, October 13, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born November 9, 1944 to the late Sidney and Gladys Welch in Lake City. Sherley lived most of her life in Bay. She was a very artsy woman and also loved textiles. Sherley also enjoyed crocheting in her spare time as well. She was such great mother and grandmother. Sherley was a very giving and kindhearted woman was loved by many and will be missed by all.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 43 years: Bobby Ray Pogue; three brothers and three sisters.
Sherley is survived by two sons: Greg Pogue of Little Rock, Ar and Brandon Dane (Alicia) Pogue of Orlando, Fl; four daughters: Christie Nance of Bay; Bobbie Pogue of Bay; Shonia Michelle ( Armour) David of Vadalia, Ga; Marine Dawn (Ariel) Gordon of Georgia; three brothers: Lewis Welch of Jonesboro; Ronnie Duke(Deborah) Welch of Trumann, Ar; Wayne Welch of Trumann, Ar; three sisters: Dorothy of Arizona; Shelby of California; Kathy Knight of Trumann; Twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
