Shelly Ann Kitchens

Shelly Ann Kitchens, 51, of Jonesboro passed from this life January 25, 2022 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

She was born to Wayne and Shirley Long on June 23, 1970 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Shelly has resided in Jonesboro since 1998 after coming from Haskell, Arkansas. She was such an avid animal lover and had many dogs over the years. Shelly loved cooking and baking. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved spending time outside gardening. Most of all Shelly loved her family especially her granddaughter, Remington.

She is preceded in death by her father, Wayne Long.

Shelly is survived by her husband, Brian Kitchens, of the home; mother, Shirley Long of Malvern; two sons, Christopher (Adrienne) McCutcheon of Jonesboro and Austin (Tyneshia) Kitchens of Fort Carson, CO; siblings, Tracy Long (Lisa Lanning) of Malvern, Missy (Steve) Forizs of Haskell, Kenny Long of Haskell, David Long of Haskell; and one granddaughter, Remington Kitchens.

A visitation will be Monday, January 31, 2022 from 11-12:30 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will follow Monday, January 31, 2022 at McDaniel Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Active pallbearers will include:

Tracy Long, Kenny Long, David Long, Mike Masters, Dustin Armstrong, and Tyler Brown.
