Shelly Glenn

Ms. Shelly Glenn, 47 of Brookland, passed on October 31, 2019 at NEA Baptist Hospital. She was born in Jonesboro and lived most of her life in the Brookland area. She was a member of Shepherds Heart Church on Highway 351. She played volleyball and basketball for Nettleton where she graduated. She worked for Toys-R-Us, Kenny MFG, Dirt Solutions in North Dakota and several employment and staffing agencies. She loved writing poetry, her flowers, and most of all, her children.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Bill Glenn and a son, Ross Curtner. She is survived by her grandmother, Alma Glenn; her parents, Jim and Judy Clayton; son, Joe (Joseph) Long; daughter, Sydney Curtner; brothers, Darrin Glenn and Jimmy (Teresa) Clayton; niece, Carlie Glenn; nephew, Devin Norris; one grandson and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 12 – 1 pm at Shepherd’s Heart Church with the memorial service following at 1 pm with Jeff Heitman officiating and Adam Farley speaking.

Private burial will be at Pine Log Cemetery.
