Sheila Louise Mcquay

Sheila Louise McQuay, 52, of Fort Smith, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at her home of natural causes.

Born in Jonesboro, Sheila lived most of her life in this area before moving to Fort Smith 3 years ago. She was a homemaker and enjoyed collecting shoes and purses. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sammie McQuay, in 2011.

Survivors include a son, James Lee McQuay of Jonesboro;

Her father and step mother, Jim and Barbara McQuay of Franklin;

4 sisters: Barbara Pace and Shelby McCain, both of Jonesboro, and Jodi Miller (Denny) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Jamie McClung (Alan) of Trumann;

4 brothers: Larry Brown of Asher, Oklahoma, James Earl McQuay (Judy) of Jonesboro, Rob McQuay (Tina) of Evans, Georgia, and Justin McQuay of Franklin.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:00 in Trinity Cemetery with John Mark Wilson officiating.

Pallbearers include: James McQuay, Alan McClung, James “Bubb” McQuay, Boyce Hart, Peter McQuay, Henry Lee Oswald and Donald Jeffery.

Visitation will be held Friday afternoon from 12:30 – 1:30 at Emerson Funeral Home.
