Sheila Kay Bramblett

November 11, 1953 — June 19, 2010

Shelia Kay Smalley Bramblett, 56, of rural Bono, died Saturday, June 19, 2010, at her home of natural causes.

Born in Mobile, Alabama, Shelia lived in Batesville before moving to Jonesboro in 1996. She was a homemaker and an Air Force officer’s wife. She was a Baptist and enjoyed horses and dogs. Shelia was preceded in death by her husband, Omer, who died while on active duty in 1996. She was also preceded in death by her father, Cleveland Smalley, and by a sister, Gertrude Hobson.

Survivors include:
2 sons and a daughter-in-law: Adam Bramblett of the home, and Jason and Laura Bramblett of Jonesboro;

2 daughters and sons-in-law: Amber and USAF Lt. Zachary Fair of Tucson, Arizona, and Jennifer and Jerry King of Bono;

Her mother, Charlotte Allen of Tuscaloosa, Alabama;

3 brothers, Junior Smalley and Rodney Smalley, both of Tuscaloosa, and Tim Smalley of Clarksville, Tennessee; and

2 grandchildren, Benjamin Fair and Keaton Fair.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday morning, June 24, 2010, at 11:00 at Macedonia Cemetery in Magness with Bro. Mike Connyers officiating, with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

There will be no visitation.
