Shelia Heckman, 40, of Caraway died at St. Bernards Medical Center on Tuesday, March 5, 2013.
Sheila was born April 19, 1972 in Lepanto, and graduated from Riverside High School. She worked at American Greetings plant as a Secretary until her health would not allow. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister, and she was very excited that she was going to be a first time grandmother this year. Her hobbies included crocheting and needlepoint. Her loving spirit and beautiful smile will be missed but not forgotten.
She was preceded in death by father, Johnny Williams; maternal grandparents, Paul and Hazel Turner; paternal grandmother, Lorene Williams; maternal uncle, Dennis Turner.
She is survived by her husband, Bryan Heckman of the home; one daughter, Whitney Heckman and grandson to be Benjamin Lee Heckman; mother, Patricia Smith; four sisters, Michelle (Bobby) Boatman, Sherri (Tommy Sr.) Veach, Amy (Rick) Privett, and Mandy Coatney and John Coggins all of Caraway; three God children, Noah and Isabella Miller, Katelyn Niedercorn; brother in law, Heath (Linda) Heckman; father and mother in law, Carroll and Carolyn Heckman of Bay; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will Thursday evening 5-7pm at Emerson Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be Friday morning at 10:00am in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Roy Kelems officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
Pallbearers are Kevin Turner, Phillip Gray, Caleb Parsley, Marcus miller, Jason New, and John Northcutt.
Honorary pallbearers are Darren Coatney, John Coggins, and Tommy Veach Sr.
