Sheila Ann Mayhan Carter

Sheila Ann Mayhan Carter, 47, of Jonesboro, died Friday, October 24, 2008, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

A native and life-long resident of Jonesboro, Shelia was a graduate of Jonesboro High School and worked several years at Dillards Clarion Cosmetics. She was a Baptist and enjoyed working in her yard and with her plants. Sheila was preceded in death by her father, Max Mayhan, in 1989.

Survivors include:
Her husband: Alan Carter of Jonesboro;

1 daughter and son-in-law: Natalie Ann and David Lavender of Bay;

1 son: Matthew O’Neal of Jonesboro;

1 grandson: Mason Lavender; and

Her mother: Shelba Maxwell Mayhan of Jonesboro.
