Shawn Walker

Shawn Walker, 38, of Jonesboro died Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Pocahontas, Arkansas. He had lived in Jonesboro since 1989, moving here from Hoxie Arkansas and was a member of Southwest Church of Christ. Shawn was a loving father and devoted husband.

He was a Flight Medic for Air-Evac, stationed in Sikeston, Missouri. He served in the medical services of the United States Air Force and was an avid hunter and Texas football sports fan.

Survivors include his wife Sara Walker and son, Spencer Shawn Walker of the home; mother and step-father, Jeannette and Bill Rush, Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; father and step-mother, Frank and Juanita Walker, Marshall, Missouri; and one brother, Aaron Walker of Jonesboro.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 29, 2007 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Jimmy Adcox and Brother Harold Russell officiating with burial to follow at McDaniel Cemetery and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers are Aaron Walker, Steven Spencer, Kerry Don Wilkinson, Fred Finnell, Chris Foster, and Mike Wixted.
