Sharrie Louise Sain

Sharrie Louise Sain, 81, of Jonesboro passed from this life Sunday, December 25, 2022 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

She was born to the late Jack L.C. and Evelyn Fisher January 5, 1941 in Borger, TX. Sharrie resided in Jonesboro for the majority of her life and was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She graduated from the Delta Vocational School in Practical Nursing on December 12, 1975 and was certified as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a long tenured nurse in the ER at St. Bernards Medical Center. Sharrie was an avid lover of horses and enjoyed watching Margie show them. She enjoyed the motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and just being outdoors. Sharrie had such a great sense of humor and never met a stranger.

In addition to her parents, Sharrie is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Sain; and her sister Alice Jane Morrison.

Sharrie is survived by her daughter, Margie Sain of Jonesboro; two sisters, Kay (Phillip) Niell of Jonesboro and Jackie (Bob) Gleaser of Seattle, WA; nieces and nephews, Chad Niell of Jonesboro, Bradley (Tina) Niell of El Paso, AR, Richmond (Barbara) Niell of Jonesboro, Russell (Kathy) Gleaser of Seattle, WA, Alisha (Scott) Bennet, Lloyd Gleaser of Seattle, WA, Sharlice Morrison, and Roger Morrison of Dallas, TX; fur baby, Tony, and grand fur baby, Aida.

A visitation will be from 10-11am Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.

A memorial service will follow at 11amTuesday, January 3, 2023 at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church with Pastor Jim Stillwell officiating.

There will be a fellowship meal following the memorial service.

Burial will be private.
