Sharon Pruett

Sharon Pruett, 80, of Jonesboro, (formerly of Marianna) passed away in mid-October.  Sharon was born in Oak Forest, Arkansas and was married to John Pruett, Jr. for 58 years.  She had a lifelong career in banking and retired as Head Bookkeeper, Assistant Vice-President of First National Bank in Marianna, Arkansas.  Her favorite activity was spending time with family, reading & watching her favorite movies.  She spent her time at The Blake at Miramar Beach welcoming others and enjoying jigsaw puzzles, games and crafts with friends.

Sharon is preceded in death by John Pruett, Jr. (husband), 1LT Tyler Parten (grandson), JCori Pruett (grandson), and Rachel Ida Lee Pruett (granddaughter).

She is survived by Lona (John) Downs, Darrin (Koba) Pruett, Christina (Scott) Stiles, siblings and a host of grandchildren.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. November 12, 2022 at Emerson Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro, Arkansas.   Graveside will follow at McDaniel Cemetery.  To sign an online guestbook, go to emersonfuneralhome.com .
