Sharon J Mcmasters

Sharon J. McMasters, 77, of Bay passed from this life on Saturday December 9, 2023 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. She was born July 1, 1946 in Jonesboro to J.W. “Bud” Sheets and Dorothy Sheets.

Sharon has lived in Bay for most of her life and was a member of the Bay United Methodist Church. She was an avid fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals, but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Bill McMasters of the home; sons, James (LaDonna) McMasters of Bay and Nathan (Elizabeth) McMasters of Bay; grandchildren, Jessica (Robby) Harpole of Imboden, Amber (Ricky) Shultz of Dallas, Texas, Khristian Warden of Bay, Ashley Saxon of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Austin (Sydney) McMasters of Trumann as well as great-grandchildren, Reece and Anna Harpole, Jaxon and Karsyn Lansdell and Laikyn McMasters.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.

The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. with Rick Jensen officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Those honored to serve as pallbearers Boyd McMasters, Bryan McMasters, Jordan Rapert, William Long, William McMasters and Roger Rose. Honorary pallbearers include Brent Hundley, Jerry Steakly, Butch Himes and Philip Vanwinkle.
