Sharon Kay Hall graduated to glory from the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House on Monday, August 10, 2026. She was born in Stanford, Arkansas on August 6, 1943 to Gaylon and Sylvia (Gramling) Adams. Sharon was a graduate of Greene County Tech, class of 1961. She earned a Cosmetology certificate upon completion of High School and practiced for a short time. Sharon spent the majority of her life in Arkansas, including 50 years in Jonesboro. She married Jimmy F. Hall on January 6, 1962 and they enjoyed 64 years of wedded bliss.

Sharon, known to her family as “Bitty” was preceded in death by her parents, Gaylon and Sylvia Adams and youngest sister, Judy Hadl. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy F. Hall and 3 sons: Boyd (Cynthia) Hall of Hot Springs, Bryan (Karen) Hall of Bristol, Virginia, and Barry (Ashley) Hall of Centerville, Tennessee. She is also survived by 5 brothers and 2 sisters: Larry (Freda) Adams, Jerry (Armentia) Adams, Wayne Adams, Joe Adams, Tom (Christina) Adams, Barbara (Bert) Sartain and Carolyn (Leonard) Ezell all of Jonesboro, along with 14 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Sharon determined, early in life, to give herself to being a wife and mother. She doesn’t leave behind civic club accomplishments or sports league championships. She didn’t own a business or climb the ladder of success. The legacy she does leave is that of an exceptional wife who did her husband “good and not evil all the days of her life.” She leaves behind 3 sons who “rise up and call her blessed” because she was the absolute best mother. She leaves the testimony of a “woman who fears the Lord” and walked with God many years, living her faith without compromise. Her life made a mark that will last until eternity and her Godly influence will be greatly missed.

Special thanks to Sissy (Carolyn) and Tiny (Barbara), two sisters who were more than sisters. They were dear inseparable friends, shopping buddies, house cleaners and caretakers. Sharon’s final years were made much more bearable because of these two special angels. They are tremendously appreciate by her family.

A visitation and service will be held Thursday, August 13, 2026 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Visitation starts at 1:00 p.m. with service following at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Jay Jacobs officiating. Internment will be at Lorado Cemetery in Lorado, Arkansas following the service. There will be no processional.
