Sharon Felkins

(Diana) Sharon Felkins, 75, of Bono, died peacefully at her home on November 18, 2020.  She was born December 20, 1944 to the late Romie W. Sr. and Fern Mills. Sharon was a long-time member of the Bono Church of Christ.  She was an RN for many years and a Certified Rehabilitation Nurse.  She was always admired by all of her coworkers.  She always enjoyed watching her grandsons play basketball. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her infant son, Bryon Scott and her son, James Wesley; two brothers, Dubby and Mike Mills, our sister, Selma Lee Ward.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Jimmy Felkins of the home; daughter, Jennifer; son, Joel and his wife Stacey; grandchildren, Garrett Felkins, Millie Russell, Wilson Felkins, Abby Felkins, Tori Blankenship, Peyton Blankenship; Cullen Felkins and Riley Felkins.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 22, 2020, at the Bono Church of Christ with Richard Akins officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Visitation will be from 1:00 Sunday, at the Church until service time.  Burial will be private.  All Covid protocol will be observed.
