Sharon Kay Dudley

Sharon Kay Campbell Dudley, 59 of Jonesboro died Sunday March 26, 2006 at Lakeside Nursing Center in Lake City, Arkansas where she had been a resident for the past five years.

Born in Oxnard, California , she lived in Jonesboro for eleven years, moving here from El Paso, Texas. She was a retired school teacher where she taught computer literacy, and business education, and also for the Adult Education Center in Jonesboro for 2 years . She was also a beloved mother and wife. She was a 1970 graduate of Arkansas State University with a BSE degree and was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority. She was listed in the Outstanding Young Women of America in 1982, and was a member of the Southwest Church of Christ in Jonesboro.

She was the Daughter of Ms. Trena Campbell and John R. Campbell. She was preceded in death by her father, John R. Campbell and her brother, Robert Campbell.

Survivors include her loving husband, Buddy Dudley of Jonesboro, her daughter and son-in-law, Jami Elizabeth and Pat Callahan and three grandchildren all of Mesquite, TX., and her mother, Ms. Trena Campbell of North Little Rock, AR.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Jimmy Adcox officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

There will be no visitation.
