Shari Finchem

Shari Jolene Sobbing Finchem, 58 of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at her home. She had moved to Jonesboro in 1988 from Glenwood, Iowa. Shari was of the Church of Christ belief. She was preceded in death by her Father Jesse Alvin Sobbing and one granddaughter, Quintana.

Survivors include her son, Jesse Finchem and wife Candella of Glenwood; daughters, Tara Gonzalez of Jonesboro; Stephanie Finchem and companion Rick West of Brookland, Arkansas; mother Joan Sobbing of Glenwood; brothers, Alvin Sobbing of Bay; Terry Sobbing of Red Oak, Iowa; sisters, Connie Wees of Omaha Nebraska; Nancy Schoening of Glenwood; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Joseph Hembry officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Rutherford Cemetery with Draven Ray, Hunter Glasgow, River Glasgow, Rick West, Alvin Sobbing, Terry Sobbing, Kenny Sobbing and Jesse Finchem. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until service time at Emerson.
