Shannon Chapman

Shannon Chapman of Jonesboro died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. Shannon was born September 14, 1974 in San Diego, CA and was the son of Joseph and Audrey Smith of Jonesboro. Shannon resided for 27 years in Jonesboro before coming from San Diego, CA in 1987. He was of the Baptist belief and attended Magnolia Baptist Church. Shannon was a very devoted father, son, brother, uncle and loved by many. He was an extremely strong willed person as well.

Surviving relatives include his parents of the home; two sons: Alan and Ashton Chapman of Jonesboro; two brothers: Shane Chapman of Jonesboro and Michael (Anita) Chapman of Bono; one sister: Tonya (Jeffrey) Victor of Olivebranch, MS.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Ronald McDonald house or national kidney foundation.

All services will be private with Emerson funeral home in charge.
