Shalvon “Sis” Rae Holt

Shalvon Rae “Sis” Holt, 63, of Jonesboro passed from this life Friday, July 1, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. She was born to the late Robert and Mae Holweg on May 3, 1959 in Flint, Michigan. Sis has resided in Jonesboro since 1987 after coming from Flint. She was of the Baptist belief. Sis had such a sweet soul and never met a stranger. She loved her family, especially her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, Robert and Mae Holweg, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Nowyorkas and her husband John Nowyorkas; brothers, Rod Holweg and Robert Holweg; and son, Tommie Holt Jr.

Sis is survived by her husband of 43 years on July 7th , Tommie Holt; son, Steven Holt of Jonesboro; daughter, Jennifer Lehman of Jonesboro; brothers Rick (Debbie) Holweg of Flint, MI and Dewayne Tucker of Flint, MI; and grandchildren, Levi Lehman, Reagan Moore, and Jacob Brown.

The family will have a celebration of life their home at 5pm Monday, July 11, 2022.

The family ask that people come in comfortable clothes and not to wear black because It will be an outside event. Also please bring a penny to throw in the pond.
