Sgt. Raymond Louis Snow, 70, of Cherokee Village, passed away at NEA Baptist Hospital on September 17, 2024 surrounded by his family.
Raymond was born on May 11, 1954 to Raymond Royal and Opal Beatrice Snow. He was of the Missionary Baptist belief and attended Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church in Walnut Ridge.
Raymond proudly served his country in the United States Army and ended his military career with the rank of sergeant. After retiring from the military, he began working at NEA Baptist as an engineer and director of plant operations.
Above all else, Raymond loved his family. He spent 50 wonderful years married to the love of his life, Deborah and treasured his time with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by his brother, Benny Wayne Perdue and sisters, Tammie Simms and Ruby Killian.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Snow of the home; son, Gary Snow of Cherokee Village; daughters, Sandra (Jeremy) Quador of Paragould, Felicia (Joseph Wade) Snow-Moore of Jonesboro, and Madison Burns of Conway; brother, Timothy Thomas (Shelia) Snow of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Emilie Price, Coraline Talbot, Beatrix Talbot, Riley Quador, Phoebe Quador, and Riley Burns; numerous nieces and nephews and a lifetime of friends.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Old Military Cemetery in Sedgwick, Arkansas with Pastor Paul Vincent officiating.
