Severt Barton Ahlberg

Severt Barton Ahlberg, 93, of Jonesboro passed from this life Friday, January 30, 2021 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 10, 1927 in Colorado. He has resided in Jonesboro for the last 40 years after coming from Colorado. Bart was always a pleasant man be to be around. He was an honest man and would always tell you what he thought.

In addition to his parents, Bart is preceded in death by his son, Tommy Ahlberg.

Bart is survived by his wife for over 45 years, Loeda Ahlberg, of the home; two sons, Glen Ahlberg of Colorado and Bill Ahlberg of Thailand; two step-sons, Dewey Graves of Jonesboro and Jim Graves of Colorado; two daughters, Linda Calder of Idaho and Debbie Peters of Missouri; brother, Vick (Margie) Ahlberg Colorado; sisters, Hellen Aiers, Betty Call, and Vesta Rolland all of Colorado; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:30pm Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Emerson Funeral Home.

Burial will be private.
