Selma Buchman

March 4, 1921 — January 9, 2007

Selma Buchman, 85, of Jonesboro died Tuesday January 9 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

She was born in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and lived in Jonesboro for 3 years, moving here from Paragould, Arkansas.

She was a homemaker and a member of Temple Israel.

She is preceded in death by her husband Samuel Buchman, her parents William Samuels and Fannie Sorkin Samuels, and one granddaughter Sarah Buchman.

Survivors include:

One Son: Marty Buchman and his wife Sue Kibiloski Buchman of Paragould.

Two Daughters’: Rosaland Kahn of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania.
Susan Havens and her husband John of Paragould.

Three Brothers’: Bernard Samuels of Hollywood, Florida.
David Samuels of St. Louis, Missouri.
Alvin Samuels of Austin, Texas.

One Sister: Bernice Bloom of Denver, Colorado.

Twelve Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren

Graveside services will be 2:30 P.M. Thursday January 11, 2007 at Temple Israel Cemetery with Charlie Katz and Will Samuels officiating. Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro is in charge of arrangements.

There will be no visitation.
